I am a mental health therapist in Medell\u00edn, Colombia and I graduated from CES University. I am currently in the United States working as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and I completed a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy at Saint Mary\u2019s University of Minnesota.<\/p>\n

My work has been primarily with children and teenagers with issues related to anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, domestic violence, learning difficulties, low self-esteem, among others.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this website is to share some ideas, articles, and resources that could be useful for professionals that are working with children and adolescents in fields like psychotherapy, education, health or recreation.\u00a0 In addition, this website also intends to provide resources that could benefit parents who are constantly struggling with day life situations related to parenting. You will find resources in English and Spanish and you would have the opportunity to contact me if you have any questions regarding the information in the website.<\/p>\n

Yo soy Psic\u00f3loga egresada de la Universidad CES de Medell\u00edn, Colombia y actualmente me encuentro en los Estados Unidos estudiando trabajando como Licenciada Asociada en Terapia de Familia y Pareja y he completado un Postgrado en Terapia de Juego en Saint Mary\u2019s University of Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Mi trabajo ha sido fundamentalmente con ni\u00f1os y adolescentes que han vivido experiencias relacionadas con ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n, abuso sexual, violencia intrafamiliar, dificultades en el aprendizaje, baja autoestima, entre otros.<\/p>\n

El prop\u00f3sito de esta p\u00e1gina es compartir algunas ideas, art\u00edculos y recursos que podr\u00edan ser \u00fatiles para profesionales que se encuentran trabajando con ni\u00f1os y adolescentes desde diferetes \u00e1mbitos, ya sea el psicoterap\u00e9utico, educativo, de la salud o l\u00fadico. As\u00ed mismo, esta p\u00e1gina provee recursos que podr\u00edan ser de gran beneficio para padres de familia, quienes constantemente tienen preguntas acerca de situaciones que se presentan en el d\u00eda d\u00eda con sus hijos.
